Terms of Service

Effective 16 October 2026

These Terms are the agreement between you and PIVOT Scientific Solution for use of Zonemeet, effective 16 October 2026. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice, Community Standards & Safety policy, and Billing policy.

1. The service and agreement

Zonemeet provides online dating profiles, discovery, mutual likes, messaging, optional contact-sharing tools, and membership features. By creating an account or using the service after these Terms take effect, you agree to them and to the Privacy Notice, Community Standards & Safety policy, and Billing policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement where you live. You must truthfully confirm that you are at least 18. That confirmation is self-declared; Zonemeet does not currently independently verify age or identity. Do not use Zonemeet if you are under 18. You must provide accurate information, use an email address you control, keep your sign-in credentials and codes confidential, and use only one account for yourself. You may not sell, transfer, or share your account. We may suspend or remove an account if we reasonably believe it belongs to a minor or contains materially false age information.

3. Profiles and member content

You are responsible for the profile text, photos, messages, and other material you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. You retain your rights in your content. You give PIVOT Scientific Solution a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical display, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the service and show it to members according to your settings. This licence ends when the relevant content is deleted, except for copies retained temporarily in backups or as required by law.

Do not submit false, unlawful, infringing, harmful, or non-consensual content. Do not post private contact details or another person’s identifying information without permission. Sample profiles are fictional demonstrations, not real members.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Zonemeet to contact minors; threaten, harass, exploit, stalk, or discriminate against anyone; impersonate another person; commit fraud or solicit money; distribute unlawful or non-consensual material; expose another person’s location or private information; upload malware; interfere with the service; scrape member data; or evade a block, restriction, or suspension. You must comply with applicable law and our Community Standards & Safety policy.

5. Respect, consent, and safety

Use the in-app block and report controls to flag a concern. You may contact the operator to appeal a moderation decision. We may investigate reports and restrict or remove accounts or content when reasonably necessary to protect people, enforce these Terms, or comply with law. We do not guarantee identity, age, intentions, conduct, compatibility, or the safety of any member. Matching and messages are not background checks. Zonemeet is not an emergency service. Arrange first meetings in public, tell someone you trust, and do not send money or sensitive information to a person you have not independently verified.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

If paid memberships are offered, the plan, billing interval, price, currency, applicable taxes, and payment provider will be shown before you authorize a purchase. Prices may vary by the pricing market selected and confirmed at checkout. A recurring monthly plan renews automatically at the disclosed price until you cancel it. You authorize the selected payment provider to charge the payment method you supplied for each renewal.

You may cancel through the subscription-management link provided by the payment provider or through the account billing controls, if available. Cancellation stops future renewals; unless applicable law requires otherwise, paid features remain available until the end of the period already paid for. We do not promise prorated refunds for unused time. This does not limit a refund, withdrawal, chargeback, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact the operator promptly about duplicate or incorrect charges. Payment processing is subject to the provider’s terms and privacy practices.

7. Points and free features

Points and other in-service balances are for use only as described in Zonemeet. Unless explicitly stated at purchase, they have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for money. We may correct an account balance affected by error, fraud, or abuse, subject to applicable law.

8. Privacy and account deletion

The Privacy Notice explains how personal information is processed. You may pause discovery and request an export or deletion using available account controls. Deletion may be delayed while an active paid subscription is managed and may not remove records that must be retained for legal, payment, security, or dispute purposes. Backup copies may remain for the platform’s retention period.

9. Suspension, termination, and service changes

You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access for a breach of these Terms, a safety or security risk, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Where reasonably practicable, we will explain a material restriction and provide a route to appeal. We may change or discontinue features; we will provide any notice required by law, and material paid service changes will not remove rights already accrued.

10. Intellectual property

Zonemeet, its software, branding, and materials are owned by or licensed to PIVOT Scientific Solution and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal, lawful purposes while your account is in good standing. No other rights are granted.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or that a match, conversation, or outcome will occur. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer protection, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any permitted limits on liability are subject to applicable mandatory law.

12. Governing law and consumer rights

Nigerian law governs these Terms. This does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply in your country of residence. Any dispute clause and competent forum must be interpreted consistently with those mandatory rights and applicable law.

13. Updates and contact

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and, where required, giving advance notice. The updated version will state its effective date. If you continue to use Zonemeet after that date, the revised Terms will apply to future use, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

These Terms take effect on 16 October 2026. Mandatory consumer protections and other non-waivable rights continue to apply where you live.
